Looking back at the preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Quote from teacher: "Good artist's borrow, great artists steal."

This quote played a key role in the outcome of my finished product.

Having prior knowledge of the Design software which we were designated to use (Adobe Photoshop CS3), it was a fairly simple task to execute the ideas floating around in my head, however, it was the innovation that was a problem. Above you can see something my teacher said to me, and by using this, I was able to come up with what was to be my finished product. I have learned that by manipulating the ideas of several artist's/designers etc, essentially by combining an extract from each piece of work, you can create what could potentially be a 'better' piece of work than that of which you sampled it from. A 'Super design' if you will.
